What this site is
Miami Appliance Tech is a local service website covering Miami-Dade County. The site publishes appliance repair information and typical price ranges and takes service requests by phone. When you call, your request is routed to an available local appliance technician; the repair itself is performed by that technician, and the final agreement for the work is between you and the technician or company that performs it.
Prices are ranges, not quotes
The prices on this site are typical Miami market ranges: diagnostic visits $65–$120, and most repairs between $150 and $450 depending on the appliance and the part. They are not a quote for your specific job. Your exact price is confirmed after diagnosis and before any repair starts, and no repair begins until you approve that price. If the diagnosis shows the job is different from what was described on the call, the technician confirms the change with you before continuing.
Diagnosis and repairs
Diagnosis comes first. The diagnostic visit is charged at the published range whether or not you go ahead with the repair; where the technician applies it toward the repair, that is confirmed on the visit. Repair recommendations are based on the diagnosis made on site. A repair is not always the economical choice for an older appliance, and the technician will tell you when replacement makes more sense. Any warranty on parts or labor is provided by the technician or company performing the repair and is confirmed with you before the work starts.
Booking, windows and access
Service is arranged by phone only; this website has no booking form. Appointment windows are estimates and can move with traffic, weather and how earlier jobs run. You are responsible for arranging access to the appliance — building or association approvals, elevator bookings, gate codes and parking — and for having the authority to arrange service at the property, as an owner, a tenant with the landlord's approval, or a property manager.
Calls and information
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded and transcribed so your request can be routed to the right technician, as described in the Privacy Policy. Information you share on a call is used only to arrange the service you asked about.
Safety
If a situation is dangerous — a gas smell, sparking, smoke or flooding — call 911 or your utility first, then call us. Do not use a faulty appliance that is sparking, smoking or leaking gas while you wait.
